How to use the R4DS to copy games to the Nintendo DS, Nintendo DS lite, Nintendo DSI, or Nintendo DSI XL

Hello, and welcome to this tutorial on how to use the R4DS (Reveloution 4 DS) to transfer games to your Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSI, and DSI XL. This will not work for the Nintendo 3DS.

1. Find the proper firmware for the R4 from http://gbatemp.net/topic/269241-wood-r4-nds-files-to-load-wood-r4ck3/

2. Download games that you want to play. I can't tell you how, but Google can.

3. Insert your Micro SD card into your computer.

4. Copy the games and firmware to the SD card.

5. Put the card in the R4.

6. Turn on your DS.

7. Select the game you want to play.

8. Enjoy!

If this doesn't work, then you should make sure the games you downloaded are from a safe site, make sure you un-zipped it, that the connections between the DS and the R4 are clean, and that you chose the proper firmware.
